Roma still want to sign Toby Alderweireld.

Roma are refusing to give up on a deal for Toby Alderweireld.
Italian newspaper La Republicca claim Roma plan to submit a new offer to Spurs.
The bid is described as 20 million Euros plus bonuses.
This would be below the recent £25 million release clause which recently passed.
Despite this, Roma are hopeful over a deal and believe Spurs could even sell after the English transfer deadline passes without replacing him.
Its an optimistic view, as well as their pricing of the defender.

Alderweireld’s intentions are unclear amid his expiring contract, but publicly he has continued to suggest his focus is on Tottenham.
Roma’s interest in the defender is understandable, he’s one of Europe’s best.
Tottenham currently have Juan Foyth out injured until September, which would make selling Alderweireld even more questionable.
