Roma are reportedly keen to tie down Marco Tumminello to a new contract, blocking interest from Everton and Liverpool.

According to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma are offering teenage striker Marco Tumminello a new five-year contract in order to end off both Everton and Liverpool.
Tumminello, 18, has come up through the ranks at Roma since arriving from Palermo in 2012, and his record for the Roma Primavera side this season has attracted great interest.
The teenage striker has smashed 28 goals at youth level this season, and he has already made his first-team debut for Roma, featuring against Chievo last term.
Tumminello has been tipped for a bright future with Roma, and the Serie A giants are offering him a new five-year contract to block interest from both Everton and Liverpool, according to Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio.

It’s believed that Roma want to secure Tumminello’s future before the start of the summer transfer window, with Watford and Serie A rivals Atalanta also keen to land the youngster.
Everton have added a couple of young attackers over the last 12 months in Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ademola Lookman, yet with both capable of playing out wide as well as up front, Tumminello could have been viewed as a more traditional centre forward.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp
Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking for depth in attack, and with questions over the future of Daniel Sturridge, Tumminello could have been a player for Jurgen Klopp to mould and develop for the long-term.
However, Roma are now pushing to block the Merseyside duo from making summer moves for the talented young attacker, who will be looking to play more first-team football with Roma next season.
