Everton have reportedly made a bid for Roma attacker Cengiz Under, but have seen their offer rejected.

According to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb, Everton have had a £24.8 million bid for Cengiz Under rejected by Roma, with the Serie A giants demanding more for the 21-year-old.
Under has enjoyed an incredibly impressive season with the Giallorossi, scoring three and providing seven assists in the top flight. Meanwhile, he also scored three times in the Champions League.
TuttoMercatoWeb reports that the Toffees have repeatedly shown interest in the starlet, and now appear to have confirmed their admiration for the attacking midfielder with an eight-figure bid for the Turkey international.
The report suggests that Everton have seen a £24.8 million bid turned down by Roma. It is not clear at this stage whether Marco Silva’s men plan to return with an improved offer for the youngster.

Under could be a seriously exciting signing for Everton if they manage to bring him to Merseyside in the coming months. He is a player that can play anywhere across the forward line and would bring plenty of pace and energy to Silva’s side.
And even if the Toffees do not manage to land Under this summer, it is surely an encouraging sign that the club appear to have their eye on some marquee additions and are willing to make substantial bids for those players.
