Spurs suffered a 2-1 loss to Inter Milan last month.

Italian outlet ASRomaLive have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele’s entourage were contacted during Spurs’ loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League last month.
The 31-year-old’s long-term future at Spurs remains a doubt as he has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham, with the Daily Star claiming he earns £80,000 a week.
The Belgium international was linked with a move to the Serie A during the summer, as well as the Chinese Super League, while Spurs were linked with a number of central midfielders that were potentially eyed as his replacement.
Now, it appears that Roma are interested in the former Fulham star, and contacted Dembele’s agents while he was playing against Inter in which Spurs suffered a 2-1 loss despite leading until the final 10 minutes of the match.

Spurs currently have Dembele, Eric Dier, Harry Winks and Victor Wanyama as options in the middle of the park, and Mauricio Pochettino is likely to want to find a replacement before letting Dembele go.
But with no new contract on the horizon for Dembele, Spurs will have to sell the midfield powerhouse in January if they want to bring in some cash for the experienced star – as he will be available on a free next summer.
