Arthur Masuaku is being linked with a move away from West Ham United.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham United star Arthur Masuaku is on Roma and Monaco’s radar this month.
The 24-year-old is enjoying a new lease of life at West Ham since David Moyes took over from Slaven Bilic in November and is one of the Irons’ most important players now.
The Italian club are in the market for a left-back as Emerson Palmieri closes in on a move to Chelsea and, according to Tuttomercatoweb, Masuaku is an option.
It goes on to state that the former Olympiacos man is valued at around £15.6 million by West Ham and is being explored as an alternative if the Giallorossi fail in their attempts to sign Barcelona’s Aleix Vidal.
The Italian outlet adds that Monaco are also in the mix.
Plenty of West Ham players have been linked with moves away this month but Masuaku hasn’t been one of them and fans would hate to see him go so soon after showcasing his potential under Moyes.
Fortunately for them, though, it seems very unlikely.
The East Londoners are in the middle of a relegation battle and Masuaku, now a firm first-team regular, is one of the reasons why a stint in the Championship does not look as probable as it did for so long under Bilic.
And simply put, selling him this late in the transfer window gives the Scottish manager very little time to replace him, so it’s unlikely to materialise.
