The Serie A side could make a move for the West Ham midfielder.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, West Ham United midfielder Pedro Obiang has become a potential transfer target for Serie A giants Roma.
Obiang found himself out of the Hammers first team at the beginning of this season but has returned and impressed in recent weeks.
So far the 24-year-old has made 12 appearances in all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s side.

Roma have identified him as a possible target as they look to send summer signing Gerson out on loan.
They will need a replacement for the 19-year-old and Obiang is one man they believe could fill the void, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
He is not the only man on their shortlist, though, with Genoa’s Tomas Rincon also a potential target.

However, it is unclear whether West Ham would be willing to part with their midfielder at this moment in time.
He has impressed since coming back into the team this season and Slaven Bilic is hardly blessed with numerous options in the centre of midfield.
On the other hand, he may be tempted to sell a man who is yet to score in 42 games in all competitions since arriving last summer and use the funds to try and improve in January.
