Marian Shved could be on his way to the Bundesliga or Belgium with Celtic expected to farm the seldom-seen winger out on loan this summer, according to the Glasgow Times.
Well, it’s fair to say many a Hoops fan was far from convinced when it emerged that a promising young Ukranian was on his way to Parkhead in a £1.75 million deal a year-and-a-half ago.
And while the departures of Scott Sinclair, Lewis Morgan and Moi Elyounoussi have cleared the path for Shved to compete for a first-team place in Neil Lennon’s side, it seems that he is still a million miles away from becoming a regular starter in green and white.
The 22-year-old played just 15 minutes of Scottish Premiership football in the entirety of 2019/20.
And while Svhed will not be heading back to Karpaty Lviv for a third spell this summer, a man who joined during the final few weeks of the Brendan Rodgers era is very unlikely to be at Celtic when next season kicks off.
The Glasgow Times report that there is interest from clubs in Germany and Belgium, which could sate Shved’s desire to prove himself in a stronger European league.

The report does not make clear whether he is set for another short-term move or whether a permanent transfer is on the cards this time.
Scoring 15 goals for Karpaty Lviv during the 2018/19 campaign, many of which were long-range stunners thumped into the net with his hammer of a left foot, Shved is clearly not short of talent.
Maybe a spell in the Bundesliga, at a Mainz, a Hoffenheim or an Augsburg, is exactly what he needs to prove his worth to Celtic.
