According to the Evening Standard, former Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has emerged as front runner to replace Bilic, should the results not improve.
Mancini is the current manager of Zenit Saint Petersburg, and he is one of the candidates to replace Bilic if West Ham decide to make a change.
The Hammers have lost all three games away from home, and another poor result against Huddersfield in a week’s time will only add pressure.
Mancini was linked with a move to the West Ham job last season when Bilic found himself under pressure after a poor run of results. However, the West Ham board decided to stick with the Croatian.
This time, the situation could be different. The 52-year-old Italian is a proven winner, having won Premier League and Serie A titles with Manchester City and Inter Milan, respectively.
The Hammers are also reportedly interested in Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez, but they need to pay a £5 million compensation to land him.
