Burnley, Middlesbrough and West Ham United are fighting for the signature of Hull City star Robert Snodgrass.
According to The Guardian, Hull City winger Robert Snodgrass prefers a move to Middlesbrough or West Ham United over Burnley.
Snodgrass, 29, missed almost the entirety of his first season with the Tigers following a summer 2014 move from Norwich City, but the Scot played a key role in Hull’s promotion to the Premier League last season.

The former Leeds star hit four goals and seven assists last term, and has been vital for Hull this season, notching nine goals and three assists in all competitions – but his performances have triggered speculation over his future.
Snodgrass’ contract was due to expire this summer before Hull activated a 12-month option in his deal, but The Guardian report that Burnley have had a £10million bid accepted for the winger – and Middlesbrough and West Ham are expected to match that offer before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Whilst Burnley appear to be leading the race having made the first acceptable bid, it’s stated that Snodgrass actually prefers a move to Premier League rivals Middlesbrough or West Ham.
The report claims that Burnley look unable to match Snodgrass’ wage demands, whereas Middlesbrough and West Ham may be better-placed to offer Snodgrass the money he is looking for.
Middlesbrough may be well-placed – quite literally – as the move makes sense for Snodgrass geographically speaking, whilst West Ham are likely to be able to pay more than both of the recently-promoted teams.
With just days of the transfer window left, Snodgrass looks set to leave Hull and join a Premier League rival – but which team he will sign for remains unclear, even after Burnley’s accepted bid.
