Arsenal defender Rob Holding is almost back to fitness.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal defender Rob Holding is set to return from injury this week – but has no guarantees from Unai Emery about his role.
The Gunners were slack defensively against Watford, with veteran duo Sokratis Papastathopoulos and David Luiz both committing major mistakes in the 2-2 draw.
At 2-0 up, Papastathopoulos inexplicably gave the ball away to Gerard Deulofeu inside his own box, with Tom Cleverley rifling home to bring Watford back into the game, before Luiz fouled Roberto Pereyra for the game-levelling penalty.
Arsenal fans have been left dismayed by their performances, and the return of defender Holding can’t come soon enough, even if he only played 10 Premier League games last season.
It’s now believed that Holding is set to declare himself fit to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday, having been out with a major knee injury since December 2018.
The 23-year-old played in an Under-23 game on Saturday so will give Unai Emery another option in defence, but it’s thought that the Spaniard hasn’t given him any promises about a starting role.

That’s probably a wise move with a young player coming back after almost a year out, but Arsene Wenger’s £2million signing from Bolton Wanderers in 2016 (BBC) will fancy his chances of getting into the side.
Hopefully Holding can really excel when he returns, not only serving as a potential solution to Arsenal’s defensive mishaps, but also giving Gareth Southgate something to think about ahead of EURO 2020.
