Liverpool are reportedly planning to hand Rhian Brewster a first-team role next season.

According to The Times, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is ready to give forward Rhian Brewster a first-team role next season rather than loan him out.
Brewster, 17, was on the books with Chelsea before making a 2014 move to Anfield, and he has become one of English football’s top young talents during his time with the Reds.
The striker made headlines last summer by scoring eight goals for England at the Under-17 World Cup in India, but he hasn’t made any first-team appearances this season.

The striker suffered an ankle injury in January, ruling him out for the rest of the season, but it’s now believed that Liverpool boss Klopp wants to hand Brewster a role around the first-team next season in something of a shock move.
Striking conundrum
Brewster looks to be a huge talent for the future, but few Liverpool fans could have really predicted Brewster being handed an important role next season, given that he hasn’t appeared in the first team at all this term.

The news will also be a boost for England given that they need top talents to be playing in Premier League first teams, but it’s unclear just how much playing time Brewster would receive.
Roberto Firmino is undoubtedly Liverpool’s leading striker, whilst Klopp also has Danny Ings at his disposal, whilst Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi will be returning from loans with West Bromwich Albion and Wolfsburg respectively this summer.
That will give Klopp something of a conundrum if Brewster is in contention too, and the teenager will be hoping to make a real name for himself next season after impressing for the England Under-17’s.
