Report reveals the reason why Diafra Sakho so desperately wants out of West Ham under David Moyes

West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has been linked with a move to London rivals Crystal Palace in the January window.

West Ham have turned a corner under David Moyes and have moved up to 11th in the Premier League after their superb 4-1 win at Huddersfield last time out.

The star turn – and fast becoming talisman – has been Marko Arnautovic who has been playing in a free role across the forward line.

One player there has been no place for is wantaway striker Diafra Sakho, who has been eager ti leave the East Londoners since the summer.

According to The Daily Mail, the Senegal striker – who tried but failed to engineer his own move away from West Ham on deadline day in the summer – had a row with Moyes ahead of the Carabao Cup defeat at Arsenal last month.

The Mail claims Sakho had expected to start at the Emirates until a conversation with Moyes about why the new manager had not been picking him to start in the Premier League team.

Sakho has been barely seen since and Moyes has claimed the 28-year-old is injured.

The Senegal striker – who has a formidable goal ratio for the Hammers – has been linked with a move to the Eagles, as reported by the likes of The Sun.

And a new report on Sky Sports claims the reason why Sakho is so desperate to leave the club is because he feels ‘undervalued’ by Moyes ‘compared to the club’s other attacking players’.

But that is as much about money as it is game time according to Sky Sports, who claim the striker is currently earning £30,000 a week at the London Stadium, while other forwards in Moyes’ squad are on between £80,000 and £110,000.

The report states: “The Senegal striker believes he was promised a new, improved contract which is yet to materialise.”
