Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign the Real Betis man.

According to a report from Spanish media outlet Diario de Sevilla, Real Betis are still not willing to budge on their valuation of Giovani Lo Celso, with Tottenham still refusing to go above £45 million for the Argentine.

Spurs have already been very active this summer, bringing in Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon and Jack Clarke from Leeds United.

Lo Celso is the one Tottenham fans really want, however.

The Argentina international, 23, would be a superb addition for the north London outfit.

He racked up an impressive 16 goals and six assists in 45 appearances for Betis last season, and he would undoubtedly help Spurs improve upon the potency of their attacking play.

Diario de Sevilla claims that Tottenham will have to stump up more cash than the £45 million they have already offered for the midfielder, however, if they want to prise him away from Betis this summer.

The Spanish publication claims this is because significant amounts of money that would be owed to PSG and Rosario if Lo Celso does in fact move to the Premier League.

The Sun claimed earlier this summer that Betis are demanding £60 million for the 23-year-old.

And according to the latest report from Diario de Sevilla, it seems as though Tottenham will just have to come up with the extra £15 million, if they want to get their man this summer.
