French club Rennes are reportedly showing an interest in Sofiane Feghouli.
The 27-year-old joined the Hammers last season from Valencia, and enjoyed a decent 2016/17 campaign. He made 27 appearances in all competitions and scored four goals.
The report claims that Rennes have already made an initial contact with West Ham over the possibility of signing the attacking midfielder.
West Ham’s Sofiane Feghouli scores their third goal
The Algeria international has recently received a large offer from Galatasary, as reported by the French publication, and the Turkish club are hopeful of luring him away from the London Stadium this summer.
Feghouli has a contract till June 2019, and he is currently not keen to leave the London club. Furthermore, Rennes would struggle to match his wage demands as well.
The Breton club are hoping to count on the excellent relationship Feghouli maintains with Rennes coach Christian Gourcuff, who was his previous coach at Algeria.
Rennes are also reportedly looking at Ludogorets Razgrad midfielder Jonathan Cafu, but Feghouli remains their first-choice target.
