Bournemouth could be forced into selling Tottenham Hotspur target David Brooks at a cut price, it has been suggested by the Telegraph.
The London Evening Standard claims that Spurs are keen on the playmaker, as Jose Mourinho looks to add another attacking talent to his squad.
Brooks has missed a chunk of this season with injury, but was in extremely bright form at the start of the campaign.
The Welsh international is unlikely to have a shortage of suitors in the top flight following Bournemouth’s relegation and it could be that the Cherries are forced to sell.
Bournemouth have apparently failed to put relegation clauses in their player’s contracts, which means that they are now in real financial danger.
That could play right into Daniel Levy’s hands, if Tottenham do make an approach for the 23-year-old.
Spurs will now realise that Bournemouth are under pressure to raise funds, and their need to sell could force the newly relegated side into accepting a cut-price fee for their star players.
