The West Ham United talent could call it a day in East London this January.

The Daily Mail has reported that Reece Oxford is prepared to leave West Ham United on a permanent basis if Manuel Pellegrini makes it clear that he doesn’t need him.
The 19-year-old defender is nowhere near Pellegrini’s first team in East London and hasn’t been named in a single senior squad all season.
Oxford, who has been on West Ham’s books since 2011, suggested to The Times last week that he may be tempted to leave the Irons if his first-team prospects didn’t improve.
But the England Under-20 international, who has eight Premier League appearances under his belt, has no idea where he stands with Pellegrini, who has left him in limbo according to The Daily Mail.
The report adds that although Oxford – who has been loaned to Borussia Monchengladbach twice since 2017 – is ‘thoroughly committed’ to breaking into the Chilean’s first XI, he would prefer a permanent exit over another temporary one if it comes to that.
West Ham fans would hate to lose him. Oxford’s career has stifled since bursting on to the scene as a 16-year-old in 2015, but he remains a huge talent and one who the Hammers faithful would love to see come good.
