Andriy Yarmolenko is waiting to receive offers for a new challenge in the summer transfer window after encountering problems at West Ham United, per Corriere dello Sport.
The Ukraine forward is currently at Euro 2020 and thriving ahead of their quarter-final clash with England on Saturday. Yarmolenko has offered Andriy Shevchenko’s side two goals and two assists to progress further than group rivals, the Netherlands.
A strong showing at the European Championship could now increase any interest in the 31-year-old’s services for next season. As Yarmolenko is keen to secure pastures new after a difficult three seasons at West Ham.

West Ham paid Borussia Dortmund £17.5m to sign Yarmolenko in 2018, but injuries have ravished his Hammers career. The Ukraine captain ruptured his Achilles tendon in October of his debut season and would not feature again that term.
Yarmolenko returned to action for the following campaign, but a thigh problem sidelined him for 12 games over the winter. And his 2020/21 was also disrupted after sustaining a knee ligament injury during February’s FA Cup clash with Manchester United.
His future could now be away from east London, with Yarmolenko waiting for offers to leave West Ham. The Irons are also open to selling the winger, per The Athletic, having put him, Winston Reid, Xande Silva and Lazio-linked Felipe Anderson up for sale.
Yarmolenko faced further problems at West Ham last season outside of his injures, as well. David Moyes only started the Hammers’ £115,000-per-week top-earner once in the Premier League over 15 appearances. He also failed to score at all and only offered a single assist.
Mutual exit for Yarmolenko and West Ham
Yarmolenko appears set for a mutual termination to his West Ham career this summer if the Irons receive any offers. The 98-cap forward has a year remaining on his contract at the club and both seem happy to call time.
But a move to Russia is unlikely after his agent told Zbirna that the Premier Liga was not an option. FotoMac have claimed interest from Galatasaray after a year on Moyes’ chopping block, however. So Yarmolenko could yet head east but for Turkey, not Russia, this summer.
Yarmolenko heading off would see Moyes lose a part of his West Ham squad that Declan Rice has praised, though. The England star told the Irons’ club website in 2019 of the Ukraine forward: “He’s top. The technique he has got on him is really special.”
