The Real Madrid ace is reportedly wanted by Manchester United and Liverpool.
According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio has offers on the table from Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool.
The 22-year-old is believed to be hankering for a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, having grown frustrated with his bit-part role at the club.
Asensio is one of Europe’s most highly regarded young players, after making a serious splash in Spain this season. Despite making most of his appearances from the substitutes bench, he has still managed to chalk up 10 goals and four assists in 41 outings for Madrid.
The Los Blancos ace would be a quite simply sensational signing for either Liverpool or United, but if Madrid really will not budge on their reported valuation of him, there is no way he will be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu anytime soon.
Neymar’s move from Barcelona to PSG undoubtedly distorted the transfer market, but Asensio’s valuation of £628.9 million is quite simply ludicrous.
It would be interesting to see the La Liga side’s stance on the matter, should either Premier League club offer around £100 million for the 22-year-old’s services this summer, however.
