Real are keen to get rid of Tottenham favourite Bale.

Spanish outlet Diario Gol have reported that Real Madrid are desperately trying to flog Gareth Bale back to Tottenham Hotspur as he struggles with being the pressure of Real’s main man – but Daniel Levy has other ideas.
The 29-year-old has failed to find the back of the net for Real for almost two months, last scoring in his side’s 3-0 win over AS Roma in the Champions League.
Indeed, Bale has managed only four goals all season as he fails to cope with being Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement, after the Portuguese somewhat surprisingly chose to join Serie A champions Juventus.
The report claims Real president Florentino Perez is attempting to sell 72-time Wales international Bale and Tottenham are said to be interested. Perez is keen to send Bale back to north London.
However, at the price Perez is demanding for Bale – as well as his enormous £600,000-a-week contract (Guardian) and injury problems – Spurs chairman Levy has told Real Madrid that he is not interested.

The report does state that Perez may have to finally reconsider lowering the asking price for Bale, which is currently unknown. It also remains to be seen if Bale himself wants to return to Tottenham.
Bale still has four years remaining on his contract at Real and is set to start for the Spanish giants on Wednesday night as they go up against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League under caretaker manager Santiago Solari.
