Tottenham Hotspur take on the Spanish side in the Champions League this week.

According to FourFourTwo, Real Madrid could be severely depleted for their Champions League group clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening.
The two sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this month and now Tottenham have the chance to take all three points at Wembley, securing their place in the knockout stages in the process.

And their hopes could be helped with a number of top Madrid players struggling to be fit for the game, with the latest report suggesting that Gareth Bale, Isco, Raphael Varane and Keylor Navas all doubtful for the clash.
Bale has been training on his own ahead of the fixture against his former side and there are hopes among the Madrid hierarchy that he will be back in time, but the prospect of Real being without some of their key men will surely be music to Mauricio Pochettino’s ears.

The likely return of Harry Kane for Tottenham will be another big boost for their manager and it will be interesting to see how the respective sides line up later this week.
Real have the players to cope with a mini injury crisis but it will certainly give Tottenham an advantage if they cannot call on four regular starters.
