Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has attracted the attention of Real Madrid recently.

According to a report in The Times, Real Madrid have already briefed the Spanish press suggesting that they are more confident of signing Dele Alli than Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

Madrid realise that buying Kane will be virtually impossible over the next couple of years, as Spurs simply do not want to sell for any money.

Kane, himself, is more than happy to stick with his boyhood club – despite the interest of the Spanish giants.

Los Blancos do believe that they can bring Alli to the Bernabeu though, and they have started sending out messages to the Spanish press about their interest.

Madrid have a strong control over certain publications in the Spanish media, and are now expected to step up their interest in Alli in the near future.

Alli is believed to be content to stay with Spurs, but he does not have the same affinity towards the North London club that Kane does.

Spurs also consider Alli a more expendable commodity than Kane, but the England international attacking midfielder will still command a huge fee.
