Southampton and AS Roma are reportedly interested in Diamond Milan Edwards of Reading.

According to The Sun, Reading will make a new offer to Diamond Milan Edwards to keep hold of the attacking midfielder amid interest from Southampton and AS Roma.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Premier League club Southampton and Italian club Roma are interested in signing the 16-year-old attacking midfielder.

The teenager has reportedly turned down Reading’s contract offer, but the Royals will reportedly made a new attempt.

Edwards is a very talented young attacking midfielder who has a bright future ahead of him.

Southampton have a very good youth academy, and a switch to the Saints will not be a bad move for the 16-year-old.

Roma are a massive and historic club in Italy, and the 16-year-old will enjoy himself there and will get a very good footballing education.

What Edwards needs to look for now is a club where he can get the best footballing education, and where he can grow as a footballer.
