Brighton manager Chris Hughton is reportedly weighing up the striker’s sale to Reading FC.
Reading are looking to strengthen at centre forward following an injury to last season’s top scorer Yann Kermorgant, and HITC Sport understands a bid was made for Norwich City’s Nelson Oliveira last week.

But Hemed could be easier to snare for Jaap Stam’s side, having entered the final year of his contract at Brighton, for whom he scored 11 goals en route to promotion last season.
Manager Chris Hughton is yet to add to his attacking options this summer, though it is claimed he will now weigh up whether to allow Hemed to leave, with no new contract seemingly on the table.
The 30-year-old Israeli international moved to the Amex Stadium two summers ago from Spanish side Almeria, and has scored 31 goals in 89 games for the Seagulls.
Reading, who lost out to Huddersfield in May’s Championship play-off final, have signed three new faces – Vito Mannone, Pelle Clement and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – already this summer.

Two of last season’s key men, Ali Al Habsi and Danny Williams, have both moved on, while Jordan Obita is said to have interest from Middlesbrough, Fulham, Hull City and Birmingham City [The Sun].
