Reading’s Danny Loader has been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

According to a report by Get Reading, Reading are determined to hold on to young striker Danny Loader after receiving several bids in the past 48 hours from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The report states Wolves have stepped up their interest in the 18-year-old, but Reading are desperate to keep hold of him having allowed several strikers to depart the Madejski Stadium this summer.
Loader is widely regarded as one of Reading’s brightest sparks. He made 21 Championship appearances for the club last season, scoring one of their goals of the season at Middlesbrough.
The Royals have looked to cut their squad this summer in order to comply with FFP rules. Strikers Marc McNulty and Sam Smith have departed on loan, while Jon Dadi Bodvarsson joined Millwall permanently.
Reading are reportedly still looking to get the likes of Gareth McCleary and Chris Gunter off the books, but they want to retain their best talents and Loader is certainly among them.
The youngster has just one year of his contract remaining. Get Reading claim the club have been trying to tie him down to a new long-term deal this summer, but Loader is said to want to assess his options.

Wolves will be looking to establish themselves in the top half of the Premier League and buying the best young talent from the Championship is a smart way to look at long-term success.
Chelsea, Arsenal and several Bundesliga sides are also linked with Loader, but Wolves are cited in the report as the most likely to win the race should they persuade Reading to depart with him.
