According to Kicker, RB Leipzig have refused to meet Werder Bremen’s asking price for reported Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers target Milot Rashica.
The Kosovo international is seemingly set to leave Werder Bremen this summer.
The German club managed to preserve their Bundesliga status by defeating second division Heidenheim in the relegation playoff over two legs.

But despite their triumph, star player Rashica is destined for bigger things.
“We have mutually decided not to use Milot in this match due to the situation regarding a possible transfer,” his manager Florian Kohfeldt told BuliNews this week.
Kicker claimed last month that Aston Villa and Wolves have made offers for Rashica, while Champions League quarter-finalists RB Leipzig are also keen.
But the latest reports from Kicker say Leipzig are standing firm. Werder Bremen reportedly seek £18 million, with Julien Naggelsman’s side refusing to pay so much.
It leaves Rashica’s future destination up in the air with Kicker labelling the situation a ‘standstill’ following a campaign consisting of 11 goals and five assists.
Wolves will be looking to strengthen their squad after their recent Europa League quarter-final exit. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo spoke after of getting more bodies in.
Rashica, 24, seems exactly the sort of high potential player they should seek.
But Villa may feel they still have a chance of signing him after retaining their Premier League status on the final day of the campaign.
The Villans must be wary of teams like Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion strengthening, meaning they are under pressure to spend again this summer.
