Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on Jean-Kevin Augustin.

According to Kicker in Germany, RB Leipzig are now prepared to cash in on striker Jean-Kevin Augustin this summer as part of a mini-clearout.

The Bundesliga side are set to bring in Julian Nagelsmann as their new manager this summer, and they look set for a return to Champions League action next season.

Some changes will be coming this summer though, and Kicker claim that Augustin – as well as winger Bruma and midfielder Stefan Ilsanker – will be put up for sale.

Augustin, 21, has only started three Bundesliga games this season and 11 in all competitions, struggling to break into the side regularly ahead of Timo Werner and Yussuf Poulsen.

The Frenchman does still have six goals this season, and after hitting 11 last term too, the speedy and technically-gifted former Paris Saint-Germain ace is bound to receive major interest.

In fact, Calciomercato claim that Everton have made Augustin their number one striker target for this summer, as Marcel Brands attempts to bring in a new goalscorer for Marco Silva to work with.

However, the Daily Mail note that West Ham United are also keen, meaning they may well be looking to pounce for Augustin given their impending striker clearout this summer.

Leipzig will be desperate for a bidding war between the two Premier League clubs, and as they prepare to let him move on, it would be little surprise to see Augustin in England next season – but which club he joins remains to be seen.
