Tottenham face added competition to sign Tanguy Ndombele.

Ndombele is seen by Spurs a a potential replacement for Mousa Dembele.
But RB Leipzig are reported to see Ndombele as a successor to Naby Keita, who they have sold to Liverpool for a club record fee.
Leipzig’s director of football is former Spurs head of recruitment Paul Mitchell, who worked with Mauricio Pochettino also at Southampton.

Tottenham made an enquiry with Lyon over the midfielder in June, with the French side making clear they would demand a large fee, L’Equipe reported.
Liverpool have also been linked to the tough tackling midfielder, with Le Progres reporting their interest at the weekend.

Ndombele is more of a pure defensive midifelder than Naby Keita, but at 21 he has time to add extra elements to his game.
Lyon are under no obligation to sell having only activated their purchase option from Amiens this summer after a successful loan spell.
