According to The Sun, Bundesliga sides RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund are entering the race for Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.
It’s claimed that Godfrey is rated at around £25million, and is being eyed up for a move to Germany with big interest arriving.
Leipzig and Dortmund have allegedly been watching Godfrey for months now. Norwich boss Daniel Farke also has strong ties to Dortmund having coached there before his move to Carrow Road.
Tottenham are also claimed to be interested, but whether they can pay the money required for a deal remains to be seen.
Godfrey, 22, has impressed in the Norwich defence despite their seemingly imminent relegation. He isn’t the tallest centre back, but he is quick, impressive in the ball and shows a strong reading of the game.
Also capable of playing in midfield, it’s no surprise that the former York City youngster is now attracting major interest.

The rumours come just hours after The Daily Mail reported that Newcastle have discussed making a move for Godfrey this summer.
Newcastle may fancy their chances if their takeover goes through, but Tottenham may face a real battle to win the race for the defender’s signature.
