Glasgow Rangers youngster Ross McCrorie will reportedly leave Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club for Portsmouth.
Ross McCrorie of Rangers
It has been reported that McCrorie and his representatives will fly to Portsmouth on Friday in order to sort out an agreement.
Portsmouth in League One in England are in a pole position to land the 21-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, on a season-long loan deal, but they want an option to sign him on a permanent contract as well, according to the report.
Rangers exit
McCrorie is a very talented and promising young player, and he does have a bright future ahead of him at Rangers.

The 21-year-old is going to struggle for playing time at Ibrox next season, and it does make sense for him to move to Portsmouth on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
However, the future plan of the youngster should be to play for the Rangers first team in the long run.
