Jake Hastie joined Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers earlier this summer.
Jake Hastie of Rangers
Hastie joined Rangers earlier this summer on a free transfer, having agreed a pre-contract with the Gers last season when he was at Motherwell.
The 20-year-old winger has struggled to establish himself in the Rangers first team, and, according to The Glasgow Evening Times, the Gers have decided to send him out on loan to Rotherham in League One in England.
Good move for Jake Hastie?
Hastie is a very good and promising winger, but he is only 20 years of age and is not ready to play well in and week out for Rangers.

With Rangers having the likes of Sheyi Ojo and Jordan Jones as wingers, it is going to be hard for the Scotland Under-21 international to get much playing time at Ibrox this season.
League One in England is a very competitive and rigorous domestic league, and Hastie will develop and progress if he spends a season there.
