According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 62, August 30, 2020), Rangers will not let Ryan Kent leave amid interest from Leeds United.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Leeds have made an offer for Kent, who made his loan move from Liverpool permanent at Rangers in the summer of 2019.

The report has claimed with star striker Alfredo Morelos likely to move soon, Rangers will not let the winger leave as well.

Sensible stance

Kent is one of the best wingers in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in the current Rangers team.

The winger is doing well at the moment, and it is clear that for the Gers to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, they need to keep hold of the former Liverpool man.

While Leeds are a big club and will play in the Premier League next season, Rangers have to stave off any more bids from the Whites.

Kent is very popular among the Ibrox faithful, and Rangers simply cannot afford to sell both the winger and striker Morelos.

According to WhoScored, Kent has scored three goals in six Scottish Premiership games for Rangers so far this season.
