Rangers are interested in bringing Terem Moffi to Ibrox this summer after the striker’s stunning run of form for KV Kortrijk, according to ScoreNigeria.
While speculation surrounding the future of Alfredo Morelos has been strangely quiet of late, the Glasgow giants continue to be linked with a whole host of strikers capable of replacing an always-coveted Colombian.
Lyle Taylor, Lyndon Dykes and Sekou Gassama have been mentioned as potential additions to Steven Gerrard’s frontline of late.
Now, we can add the in-form Moffi to that ever-growing list.
“There has been a contact from Rangers as well as Lorient, who have returned to the top league in France,” a source told ScoreNigeria.
Moffi only moved to Belgium from Lithuanian outfit FC Riteriai last year but his transfer value has already gone through the roof.
The report suggests that Kortrijk would only consider ‘crazy’ offers – though a £1 million price-tag is unlikely to put off a club with pockets as deep as Rangers.
Moffi produced ten goals in 16 games during the 2019/20 campaign with his lethal finishing from inside the penalty area reminiscent of a young Morelos in Finland.
