Rangers are reportedly looking to lure Scott Arfield to Ibrox.

According to the Daily Mail, Rangers are pursuing a pre-contract agreement for Burnley midfielder Scott Arfield ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Gers are seeing their season peter out, and whilst the focus will be on landing a new manager to replace interim boss Graeme Murty, director of football Mark Allen must line up new signings too.
A number of players are needed this summer, and with Rangers operating on a budget, it seems that Allen is looking to take advantage of one player’s contract situation.
The Daily Mail report that Rangers are lining up a pre-contract agreement for Burnley ace Scott Arfield, as they attempt to secure him on a free transfer.

Arfield, 29, came up through the ranks with Falkirk before leaving Scotland for Huddersfield Town in 2010, and he has been a regular for Burnley since his 2013 switch to Burnley.
Now a Canadian international, Arfield has made 15 Premier League starts this season, grabbing two goals and one assist, but looks set to depart Turf Moor when his contract ends this summer.
Rangers are now looking to secure a bargain by landing Arfield for free, though it’s claimed that his £20,000-a-week wages remain an issue for the Gers as they attempt to get a deal over the line.
