It has been reported that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has made contact with his former England international teammate and current Derby manager Frank Lampard regarding signing Lowe on loan for the 2019-20 campaign.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a midfielder, is on loan at Aberdeen from Derby at the moment.
According to The Daily Record, Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has already spoken to Derby regarding extending the youngster’s loan spell at the Pittodrie Stadium
The report has also claimed that Derby manager Lampard does not plan to sell Lowe, but he could sanction another loan spell at a Scottish club.

Good signing for Rangers?
Lowe is a very talented and promising versatile young player, and the 22-year-old can only get better in the coming years.
The youngster has done well at Aberdeen during his loan spell, and he will be a smart short-term signing for Rangers.
According to WhoScored, Lowe has made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season, scoring two goals in the process.
