Bologna are considering whether to send Rangers target Andreas Skov Olsen on loan, according to Corriere di Bologna (print edition, page 8, August 13, 2020).

Rangers are among a number of clubs interested in the Bologna winger, according to the report in the Italian publication.

Steven Gerrard’s side want to sign the winger on a loan deal in the summer transfer window, and Bologna are considering the proposal, according to the report.

Besiktas, Copenhegan and Real Sociedad are also reportedly interested in the 20-year-old Dane.

Bologna spell

Olsen joined Bologna from FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2019 for a transfer fee reported by Corriere di Bologna (print edition, page 8, August 13, 2020) to be worth €6 million (£5.43 million).

According to WhoScored, Olsen made seven starts and 19 substitute appearances in Serie A for Bologna during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring one goal in the process.

Good signing for Rangers?

Rangers do have some very good attack-minded players, but the Gers could do with a winger, especially as the likes of Jordan Jones and Brandon Barker have not really been great, although both of them have had injury problems.

It would be a risk for Rangers to sign Olsen on a permanent contract, but a season-long loan deal would make them more competitive in the wide areass.
