Rangers have upped their bid for the Norwich City man, who has also been linked with Sheffield Wednesday.
The Express has reported that Rangers have gone back in for Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans.
Rangers were linked with the Championship man last week but a £700,000 offer was said to have been knocked back by the Canaries.
However, Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinha has returned and this time tabled a £1 million offer for the 30-year-old Glaswegian, according to The Express.
The report goes on to suggest that Norwich could offload him for cheaper than their £1.5 million valuation in an effort to reduce the wage bill.
Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough have also been linked with the former West Bromwich Albion man, who spent seven years at the Hawthorns under various managers.
The Mail reported last week that Sheffield Wednesday were ready to hijack the deal but Rangers’ latest bid may be enough to get the deal done.
Dorrans would become the fifth Gers’ signing of the summer if it materialises.
Caixinha has already brought Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Dalcio and Fabio Cardoso to Ibrox so far – Dalcio being a loan signing from Benfica.
