Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly about to make a new signing.

The Glasgow Evening Times have reported that Rangers are about to sign Umaro Balde.
Rangers have already have Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie moving to Ibrox this summer, while striker Greg Stewart is expected to follow.
But according to The Glasgow Evening Times, Steven Gerrard will make the Sporting Lisbon midfielder his third confirmed signing of the forthcoming transfer window. Unlike Jones, Hastie and Stewart when it happens, there had been no speculation about Balde beforehand, making this something of a surprise signing if it materialises.
The report adds that the Bissau-born holding midfielder will join the Gers on a two-year contract, having impressed during a trial at Auchenhowie recently.
Balde, who won’t cost Rangers a penny, will join the ranks at the Hummel Training Centre, the GET claims.
If he spends next season with Graeme Murty’s Under-20 side then there’s a high standard there too, with the light Blues’ youngsters winning the Reserve League last season.
