Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to sign the 22-year-old defender.

The Express has reported that Rangers would have to cough up a seven-figure sum for Hearts defender John Souttar.
According to The Record, Rangers’ Director of Football Mark Allen has identified the 22-year-old as a summer transfer target.
Gers boss Steven Gerrard will need a number of new centre-back options this summer, with Gareth McAuley turning 40 in December and Joe Worrall potentially returning to parent club Nottingham Forest.
Souttar is contracted to Tynecastle until 2022 but Rangers won’t be getting him on the cheap, as The Express claim that Hearts will be looking for a minimum of £1 million.
The report adds that the Jambos will demand a ‘substantial’ seven-figure sum, which prompts a belief that it might cost the Ibrox side a lot more than £1 million.
Souttar is 6 foot 2 in height and fits the physical description of central defenders that Gerrard and Allen have been signing, so this one might make sense.
If the light Blues sell Alfredo Morelos, everybody will know that Gerrard and Allen have cash on the hip and therefore the likes of Souttar might see their asking prices increased.
