Rangers are reportedly interested in bringing Moussa Konate to Ibrox.

According to Courriere Picard in France, Rangers are targeting a late move for Amiens striker Moussa Konate ahead of the transfer deadline.
The Gers are entering the final few days of the transfer window, and despite releasing Kyle Lafferty, loaning out Zak Rudden and selling both Ryan Hardie and Andrew Dallas, no new strikers have been brought in.
There are high hopes for Dapo Mebude and Nathan Young-Coombes for the future, but another first-team striker would really give Steven Gerrard enviable firepower.
Amiens’ local newspaper Courriere Picard now claim that Rangers want Amiens ace Konate, and there has just been a development in the last few minutes.
L’Equipe claim that Rangers are prepared to pay just shy of €10million (£9million) for Konate, with the move seemingly gathering pace ahead of the deadline.
Two sources backing up Rangers’ interest suggests there may be something in this, especially as one is a source local to Amiens and one is a well-respected national newspaper.

Konate, 26, is a speedy striker with 20 league goals in his last two seasons with Amiens, and the Senegal international would certainly be an exciting addition at Ibrox.
However, spending so much on Konate would raise real question marks about the future of Alfredo Morelos, as Gerrard couldn’t rule out the Colombian leaving Rangers when speaking to The Scottish Sun yesterday.
Targeting Konate with a big-money move smacks of him being lined up as a potential Morelos replacement, as it’s hard to see Rangers keeping Morelos and then splashing a huge £9million on another striker.
