Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Nottingham Forest reportedly want Martin Olsson.

Martin Olsson would be a smart signing as a free agent this summer, and there is no surprise that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Nottingham Forest reportedly want the departing Swansea City left-back.
Rangers and Nottingham Forest interest
Olsson is leaving Swansea in the Championship in England this summer, and, according to The Scottish Sun, Scottish Premiership club Rangers and Forest are interested in the 31-year-old.
Earlier this week, The Scottish Sun claimed that Rangers have held talks with the Sweden international over a move to Ibrox, with Forest in the Championship in England also ready to make him an offer.
Update
There has reportedly been an update in Rangers’ pursuit of Olsson. A report in The Daily Record today has claimed that the deal could “dead in the water”.

It has been reported that Rangers wanted the left-back to prove his fitness in pre-season training before committing to a deal, and now it looks unlikely that he will join the Gers with an offer from Forest on the table.
Missing out?
Rangers need to sign a left-back in the summer transfer window, as Borna Barisic has failed to convince, and right-back Jon Flanagan has not really be a huge success at left-back, and Olsson would be a good signing on a free transfer.
