It has been reported that Oldham have offered Edmundson a new contract after they rejected Rangers’ bid of £400,000 for the 21-year-old defender earlier this week.
Hull City, Peterborough United, Wigan Athletic, Stoke City and Derby County are also interested in the defender, who is keen on a move to Rangers this summer, according to the report.
According to The Express, Rangers do not want to get involved in a bidding war over Edmundson.

Good signing for Rangers?
Edmundson is a very talented and promising young defender who played well for Oldham in League Two this season.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old defender made 45 appearances in League Two for Oldham this season, scoring two goals in the process.
Edmundson is a player who can only develop and progress, and the 21-year-old will be a good signing for Rangers in the summer transfer window.
