Ruth will be looking to earn a permanent Rangers deal when he turns out for the Ibrox side’s Under-20s.

Rangers are taking striker Michael Ruth on trial, according to the Scottish Sun.
The 16-year-old, who plays for Rangers’ Glasgow neighbours Queen’s Park, will reportedly travel to Germany with the Ibrox side’s Under-20s ahead of a tournament this week.
Despite his tender age, Ruth has already tasted senior football with the Spiders – featuring in two of their League One fixtures last month.

Sadly, the Scotland Under-16 international was unable to prevent his side’s relegation this season and, in quotes published by the Scottish Sun, a Queen’s Park source revealed that Ruth will head to Rangers “with our best wishes”.
Should Ruth’s audition go well, he is unlikely to be the only striker heading to Ibrox this summer, with prolific pair Oli McBurnie and Jack Marriott also linked.

It has also been reported that the Gers are in talks to sign Nottingham Forest loanee Jason Cummings on a full-time basis.
