Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty has no future at Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty has been told he isn’t wanted at Ibrox after talks with Steven Gerrard.
The Gers swooped to bring centre fowrard Lafferty back to Ibrox last summer, paying £500,000 (Glasgow Evening Times) to lure him from Hearts.
The Northern Irishman first joined Rangers from Burnley back in 2008, scoring 38 goals in 138 games before moving on to Sion, Palermo, Norwich City, Caykur Rizespor, Birmingham City and Hearts.
Seen as an ideal veteran striker to support Alfredo Morelos, Lafferty endured a difficult season, scoring just seven goals in 37 games, and he struggled for playing time after Jermain Defoe’s arrival.
Now, The Scottish Sun report that Lafferty has been told by boss Gerrard that he should leave Ibrox, as he’ll have no role in the squad at all next season.

Lafferty will allegedly return to Glasgow this weekend to try and sort out a departure from Rangers, with Cypriot side Apollon Limassol interested, and Lafferty open to another experience abroad.
With one year left on his deal, Rangers aren’t likely to get much for Lafferty, and Gerrard may simply want him gone as soon as possible to get his wages off the bill.
