Turkish newspaper Fanatik report that Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos and Celtic hero Moussa Dembele are two names on a three-man list at Fenerbahce – after the Turkish club finished top of their Europa League group earlier this month.
Morelos, 26, has endured a difficult spell at Rangers during the first half of the season. Question marks surrounding his attitude and fitness saw him initially ostracised by Giovanni van Bronckhorst. He has scored three goals in 19 games.
The Colombia international will see his Rangers contract expire at the end of the season. The likelihood is that Rangers’ all-time top goalscorer in European football will be sold in January if a decent-enough offer is tabled for his services.
But he is not the only player being looked at by Fener. Indeed, the SuperLig side are also considering an ambitious move for ex-Celtic player Dembele. He scored 22 goals for Lyon last season. But his contract is also expiring in 2023.

The other player on Fenerbahce’s shortlist is another Colombian, in the form of Luis Muriel. He is currently at Serie A side Atalanta, and again, he is out of contract next summer. He has just one goal in nine games for Atalanta this term.

As aforementioned, Rangers will surely look to cash in on Morelos in January if a decent offer comes in. Having been touted in the region of £20million in the past, there is absolutely no chance they will get a bid like that come January.
For two reasons. His contract, and his form. Given Morelos, though, was bought for £1million from Helsinki and he has gone on to score 115 goals in 243 games, there is no doubt he has is a success. It remains to be seen the fee needed.
