Pedro Rebocho is the latest player to be linked with Glasgow Rangers.

A Bola reports that the Ibrox side are showing an interest in the left-back, who plays for Liga NOS side Moreirense.

Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha is being tipped to make his first signings since moving to Glasgow this week, with another Portuguese defender, Cagliari centre-back Bruno Alves, reportedly lined up.

And Rebocho, who has represented the Iberian nation at all levels up to and including Under-21, could follow the 35-year-old to Scotland.

The 22-year-old began his career at Benfica before moving to Moreirense last summer and appearing 29 times for the side managed by former Portugal midfielder Petit, who narrowly avoided relegation this past campaign.

Three of Rebocho’s old Benfica teammates, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias and Fabio Cardoso, have also been linked with Rangers moves these past few days.

Rangers’ alleged interest in Rebocho may come as a surprise with youngster Myles Beerman impressing in the absence of regular left-back Lee Wallace of late.
