According to the Daily Record, Rangers are set to beat a number of clubs to the signing of Ross County attacker James Graham.
It’s claimed that Rangers are ‘close’ to agreeing terms with Graham. A bid was accepted last month according to the Daily Record, but Rangers were struggling to agree terms.
Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers were believed to be rivalling Rangers, whilst Liverpool and Manchester United had registered prior interest.
However, Rangers appear to have bridged the gap in talks. The Gers have allegedly beaten a number of ‘top’ English sides, with Graham set to join the Rangers academy.
Graham, 16, is regarded as one of the top young talents in Scotland. He featured on trial at Liverpool earlier this season, and immediately scored twice.

The striker may not head to Anfield just yet, but he could end up playing for Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard if his move to Rangers goes through.
Gerrard certainly still has ties at Liverpool, and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he has received glowing reports from his former club about the teenage striker.
With Dapo Mebude and Nathan Young-Coombes also coming through, Rangers look to have a set of young attackers for the future – and they can certainly celebrate a coup if they do manage to get the Graham deal over the line.
