Rangers are reportedly continuing their attempts to lure George Edmundson to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are set to make a third bid to bring Oldham Athletic defender George Edmundson to Ibrox.
Edmundson, 21, was a key part of the Oldham side this past season, racking up more than 50 appearances in all competitions whilst thriving for the Latics.
The 6ft 3in defender has earned comparisons to ex-Oldham youngster James Tarkowski, and he’s unsurprisingly attracting major interest from other clubs.
Edmundson has handed in a transfer request having refused to sign a deal with Oldham, and with just a year left on his contract, he will surely leave this summer.
Rangers are pushing, and The Scottish Sun report that after failing with bids of £450,000 and £500,000, Rangers are set to launch a third bid to sign the defender.
It’s claimed that Edmundson wants a move to Ibrox, and Rangers are confident that a deal will be done despite major competition for the youngster’s signature.

With Joe Worrall heading back to Nottingham Forest, Edmundson would seemingly arrive as cover for Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic whilst being one for Steven Gerrard to develop in the coming years.
Oldham allegedly want £1million, but Rangers will be desperate to just get a deal done sooner rather than later, and may need this third bid to be worth more than a £50k increase on their last offer.
