Rangers have pulled off yet another signing, with the Daily Record claiming that Ross County striker James Graham has now signed.
The Gers confirmed on Wednesday that midfielder Stephen Kelly has signed a new contract with the club, and would spend the season on loan at Ross County.
That set tongues wagging. Speculation has been rife around Graham for weeks now, with many expecting him to join Rangers.
Some felt that Kelly heading to Ross County on loan was part of the Graham deal – and that does appear to be the case after all.
The Daily Record note that Kelly’s loan sees him move in the opposite direction, with Rangers also paying a fee of £45,000 for Graham.
The 16-year-old allegedly signed his three-year deal on Wednesday, meaning his move to Ibrox should be confirmed very soon.
Graham is one of the most highly-regarded young prospects in Scottish football, and whilst Wolves and Liverpool both held an interest, Rangers have won the race.
With Kelly off to gain experience and a talented young striker brought in, Rangers should be very happy with this deal, setting them up well for the future.
