Rangers are reportedly set to bring Steven Davis back to Ibrox.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are set to snap up Steven Davis from Southampton, with a medical believed to be imminent.
The Gers beat Celtic 1-0 in the latest Old Firm derby on Saturday afternoon, going level on points with Brendan Rodgers’ men at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Steven Gerrard will now be keen on major January additions to bolster Rangers’ hopes of a real title challenge from now until the end of the season.
Another midfielder would be ideal, especially one who can control the game, and Gerrard appears to be closing in on one such player.
The Scottish Sun report that Rangers have agreed a deal with Southampton midfielder Davis, with an Ibrox return for the veteran all set up.
Davis, who turned 34 yesterday, has allegedly agreed an 18-month deal with Rangers, and will earn £12,000-a-week at Ibrox; a pay cut from his earnings at Southampton.

It’s even claimed that Davis could undergo a medical in the next 24 hours, before joining up with the Rangers squad for their training camp in the coming days.
Davis first joined Rangers on loan from Fulham in 2008, and went on to make more than 200 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals before heading to Southampton in 2012.
