Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is attracting major interest – and the Gers are expected to demand a huge profit for him.
The Daily Mail report that Arsenal want to re-sign Kamara, viewing him as a much cheaper alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion’s Yves Bissouma.
Whereas the Seagulls are expected to demand £40million for Bissouma, Rangers are seeking around £10million for Kamara.
That would be much more budget-friendly for Arsenal, who aren’t expected to have a huge budget for this summer’s transfer window.
Kamara was actually released by Arsenal during the summer of 2017, and then joined Rangers for just £50,000 in January 2019.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Steven Gerrard, but also excelled for Finland on the international stage, helping them reach the European Championships.
Rangers won’t want to lose Kamara any time soon, but an impressive campaign at the Euros may only heighten the interest in his signature.

Kamara may also be tempted by a return to Arsenal having failed to make a breakthrough there in the past; he’s a much better player now, and may feel that he has unfinished business with the Gunners.
Playing alongside Thomas Partey in midfield may also be appealing, but there’s one thing Rangers can offer – Champions League football.
Arsenal need to win the Europa League to get into next season’s Champions League, whereas Rangers are already into the qualifiers having won the Scottish Premiership title.
That’s a major selling point for Rangers if they need to fight to keep Kamara, and Arsenal will soon have to decide whether to focus on Bissouma or bring Kamara back to the club in an eight-figure deal just four years after releasing him.
